Are people aware there are two chinatowns?

I recently moved to Toronto and been exploring the city for a while, found out that there are actually two chinatowns here, one near Kensington, and other on Gerrard St E & Broadview Ave. Everybody knows about the west one, but seems like only a few know about the east one. Does it goes under a different name? Or people just not aware it exists because its on the other side of the Don Valley? Or its not considered a chinatown at all because its too small?
