Aren't we over fussing about the Taylor Swift impact (positive or negative)

All this fussing about Taylor Swift coming to town is making Toronto sound like it's some tiny village somewhere. I get Taylor is a level of superstardom that is extremely rare and love that for her, but her perfoming here won't stop life as we know it. I was looking at the city's estimates of visitors and it 500K ppl coming into the city.....Caribana on average brings 1.3M visitors EVERY YEAR same for like economic impact.....it's as if we don't regularly get such "world class" events.

I know we love to hate it, but Toronto has the infrastructure to deal with such an event. It would make going downtown mildly more inconvenient then usual but not NOTHING more. People are acting as if life will stop, and I feel like that is underestimating our city!
