[s2 act 2 spoilers] Some characters actions don't feel believable to me
While I can understand most of the characters decision in act 2 some just don't make sense to me. Maybe someone can share a perspective to change my mind but right now I'm a bit disappointed in the writing team.
Isha: Her probable sacrifice at the end, I just don't understand her motivation? The whole thing feels kinda forced to me.
[This has been solved for me: As several people have pointed out Isha has emulated Jinx a lot and has also been willing to die in the past, so yeah that tracks now :)]
Caitlin 1: Cait seemingly sleeping with Maddy just comes so out of left field and is in my optionen not necessary for the story. If they wanted to put it in for whatever reason it should have gotten more of an buildup (same as it has been with Vi in S1)
[I want to clarify my issue isn't really the fact that it happened, but that it felt jarring to me that the first time we see Cait she has been sleeping with Maddi. Probably didn't convey that very well. ]
Caitlin 2: What the fuck is her motivation in the 3rd episode when she decides to help Vi. She kinda betrays her allies and Pilltover by helping out Vi and just decides to do that an a whim. All the while she hasn't gotten her hands on jinx. I mean you can get her there by her slowly realizing that she has made a mistake by becoming dictator and then looking for a way out and bam there is Vi sorta offering her a new/old path to follow, but that hasn't happened in my opinion.
[My current stance is, that whether or not this works for me, depends on how act 3 plays out and what insights into Cait we get during it. ]
Maybe we'll get the required flashbacks in act 3 but right now I'm just feeling [a little bit] disappointed in Caits arc in act 2.
