Help a husband: Is there a romantic (not spicy) thing the men do for the women a lot in this series?

This morning my wife who's read SOOOO many books of this genre said there's something that all the men do when interacting with the women. This piqued my interest. She claimed it's romantic but not spicy. She doesn't want to tell me exactly what it is because she's afraid I'll overdo it. I don't think I will and would love to be romantic in a way she likes. Does anyone have any guesses as to what this could be?

As a helpful hint, she mentioned this right after I kissed her goodbye before work.
