First time read (ACOTAR) and need to share my thoguhts

So, I heard about these books last year or so and was like haha I’d never read about some fairy smut! Anyway.. I came across a YouTube video of a girl explaining what happens in the books, and was so intrigued that I literally watched her explanation of the first 3 books and decided I absolutely have to read atleast ACOTAR even if I spoiled it all I was so invested lol.

I JUST NEED TO VENT BECAUSE IVE GOTTEN SO ATTACHED TO THESE CHARACTERS BUT NOW KNOWING WHAT HAPPENS I DONT EVEN WANT TO GO ON WITH READING😭

I love Tamlin literally so much I think him and Feyres love story build up is the sweetest thing ever and I just got to the part where he sends her away so I know his character assassination is coming and I just literally can’t stand it I don’t want to go on😭

I know maybe Rhys could grow on me so I’ll probably atleast see finish ACOTAR and see how I feel about him but UGH. I hate when writers change the main love interest after they built it up so beautifully. I know some people find that fun being introduced to a sexy new love interest but I AM A TAMLIN LOYALIST AND I REBUKE WHAT HE TURNS INTO IN THE SECOND BOOK I genuinely don’t think I can read any other books because of this.

Maybe if Sarah J Maas writes a redemption arc for him later on and gives him a new love I’ll read that, but god it makes me sad lol!

I know this is very dramatic but I’ve been invested in this love story for weeks even before I actually read the book so I’m just really sad that it’s over now and if I want to keep enjoying this series I’ll have to learn to love Rhys and watch Tamlin turn into a monster 😭

Anyway, I’ll just be grieving. Don’t mind me.🫡
