Azriel, Cassian, and Rhysand Would Realistically Have A Strong Man Build

I was talking with my boyfriend this evening after seeing how some people depict these men. My boyfriend is really into body building and knows what a man with real strength would look like. And when he told me about the strong man build, that is exactly what I pictured Cas and Az to look like. Not so much Rhysand but he technically applies here as well. There is a huge difference between having muscles and looking strong and actually having strength. If you think about it, these men have to fly and the amount of muscle it takes to be able to do that as effortlessly as they do is insane. There’s evidence in the books to back this but to avoid spoilers i will not say because i’m unsure of what book it comes from. But i feel like as a community we should be showing these men in the realistic body type they’d have rather than the fantasized unrealistic body type. especially because these men are meant to be VERY intimidating. if you look up Brian Shaw next to aesthetic body builders, you would see what i mean. idk maybe that build is just more attractive to me than how others depict the men in fantasy novels. this is just food for thought.

update: yes i understand these are fantasy characters that don’t exist. you’re free to picture them HOWEVER you want. i just like to picture the men in my books to be more realistic because that’s more attractive for me. i never see art that does these amazing men justice in my eyes. but if they work for you then that’s awesome.
