The SBU detained a Russian game adjuster, according to whose coordinates the Rashists killed three civilians of Sumy with Shaheds

Military counterintelligence of the Security Service detained another Russian agent in Sumy. He turned out to be a 23-year-old local resident who was adjusting enemy fire in his region.

As the investigation established, it was according to the coordinates of the figure on October 22 of this year that the Rashists attacked Sumy with Shahed-type kamikaze drones.

Then, as a result of an enemy attack on residential buildings in the city, three civilians died. Among them is one child, a student of the 9th grade of a local school.

According to the case materials, in addition to directing Russian drones at the civil infrastructure of the city, the agent scouted the geolocations of the Defense Forces.

In order to collect intelligence, the traitor traveled around the territory of Sumy and the surrounding areas in his car and secretly recorded the "necessary" objects.

It was established that the agent was in direct contact with a staff member of the General Staff of the aggressor country (better known as the game).

For communication, they used an anonymous chat in the messenger, where the traitor sent videos of potential targets with coordinates and a detailed description of the objects.

Military counter-intelligence of the SBU caught the attacker "red-handed" when he was carrying out an enemy mission near military facilities.

According to the investigation, the Russian game remotely recruited the figure in the fall of this year, when he actively wrote in Russian Telegram channels that he was waiting for the seizure of Sumy Oblast.

During the searches, a phone and a laptop with evidence of his communication with the occupiers were seized from the detainee.

The investigators of the Security Service informed the agent about the suspicion under part 2 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (treason committed under martial law).

The perpetrator is in custody. He faces life imprisonment with confiscation of property.

The special operation was conducted under the procedural guidance of the Sumy Regional Prosecutor's Office. - Security Service of Ukraine
