Update Screen on Boot

Recently when ubuntu was on the loading screen it showed `Installing updates, Please don't turn off your PC`, I search for it and there is nothing (picture article...) that would say ubuntu has such a screen to hold the user to install the updates. I'm concerned that it might be a malware since Linux can just install updates while using it.

Anyone from ubuntu development, Does it have such a boot screen? Unfortunately, I don't have a picture to show.
