How to deactivate account and delete phone number so I can recreate new account ?
Uber flagged me for “fraudulent activity” and cancelled my Uber eats driving ability because I drove 70miles to the next big city over and tried to deliver food there with out setting it up, I’m new to Uber eats driving. Didn’t know I needed to set that up for a neighboring city. Whenever I go through the steps for deactivation, it says my account is deleted or whatever then when I use a new email to create a new account it signs me back into my old account. Running me in circles and never actually deactivating or deleting my old account. With the new feature of “account recovery” or whatever it is it seems to just be throwing me in a loop. I called customer service, this is the way they told me to get around it. Doesn’t seem to be working and I can’t figure it out. Using on an iPhone. Any suggestions on how to deactivate and actually delete this old account so I can create a new one with the same phone number?
