Anyone avoid Ring camera doorbells?

During Covid, we were instructed to not touch doorbells but rather knock on doors. I despise Ring-style doorbells with cameras. Are there carriers who knock on the door rather than ring the camera doorbells? I've had to talk to people who weren't home through their Ring explaining that no, I can't leave a letter or parcel requiring a signature just because they said it was okay through their doorbell.
