Time it took before driving

Just curious about other on average how long does most preload workers work before there able to become a driver I've seen some wait 7-8 years few got lucky and started right time and only had to wait a few years there's going to be several retire soon. But I hear some centers turn around is so hi that it's less then a couple years just curious
