Can we rent/buy a fridge later in the year?

My roommates aren’t too sold on renting a microwave/fridge so we’re thinking of just seeing how it goes and maybe getting one later if decide we want it. Can we bring one in later during the school year?

Also, how are the appliances in the kitchens? We’re hoping to dorm in mesa court towers if that changes anything
