i HATE gender stereotypes.

They make me feel insecure about my Faith, for example if most People said i'm not a Real Christian i would be very scared, i live a place where it seems like most People support ideas like: Real Men don't show emotion, Real Men always go hunting during hunting season, Real Men go to the gym everyday, Real Men are buff, Real Men are always serious, Real Men don't show Kindness, (tho i'm 100% sure about the Kindness one.) Real Men always have a big beard, Real Men only enjoy manly things like football wrestling hunting etc, (i'm not saying You can't enjoy these things) Real Men don't cry, Real Men are never scared etc. if Your favorite color is pink You are not a Real Man, and although Women stereotypes don't seem as supported as Men stereotypes i will list a few Women Stereotypes that exist: Women never stand up for Themselves, Women's only job is to stay home and cook make babies and have sex, Women can't say no to sex, Women must always wear dresses ect. and what's worse is some People are taking these stereotypes and adding them into Scripture saying things like: "The Bible says Men don't cry!" or "Women must do whatever Their Husband says." and it makes me MAD that People are twisting the Bible, these stereotypes also make People like me feel insecure about our Faith and Salvation it makes us think stuff like: "i'm not Manly or Feminine enough i'm going to Hell." or something more personal: "The Bible says being effeminate is wrong and i'm a brony so i might be going to Hell" and yes i am aware God is not like this it still scares me, i hate where i live, The People here seem like jerks, They seem to be racist, They have a false view of what a Man is, and i'm pretty sure my Mom told me one of my uncles said They would disown His Daughter if She Married a Black Person. overall being a Christian where i live is hard.
