(Loved trope) Characters don’t like each other until one act of kindness sparks their friendship
Wicked - Glinda and Elphaba famously hate each other for a myriad of reasons, until Glinda tricks Elphaba into wearing an “ugly” hat to a party. Elphaba continues to dance at the party, despite how much the others are laughing at her and how alone she feels. This (along with Elphaba allowing her to join sorcery class) makes Glinda realise how awful she’s been, so she joins Elphaba in the dance, sparking a genuine friendship between the two. Probably the best moment of the film and one of my favourite examples of the trope.
Blades of Glory -Two male figure skaters have an ongoing beef; it escalates to the point where they have a brutal fist fight on the Olympic podium, and they are banned from solo competitive skating. When they rejoin the competition as a pair, Jimmy falls in the middle of their qualifiers, but Chaz offers him a hand. This act marks the beginning of their actual partnership.
Sonic the Hedgehog 2 - Knuckles and Sonic are enemies for the majority of the film. One epic battle and Eggman betrayal later, Sonic forces himself to overcome his fear of water to rescue Knuckles in a collapsing temple. Knuckles then returns the favour. This kicks off an honest talk between the two and their eventual brotherhood.
