is this guy any good ?

I'm around half way through empire of cats ch3 and I did my first 11 roll and I got this guy. I know he's one of the rarest units but I don't know if he'll be useful this early into the game. I'm wondering if I should use him at moon3 cuz he's resistant to floating enemies overall should I upgrade him ?
