Just finished the final episode and I loved it!

I can understand why many people might hate the show, but remember guys, not even the og trilogy was perfect, nor the prequels or the eu comics / books.

I loved the Mandalorian and Ahsoka too.

This show really gave me that mysterious evil feeling that the prequels did with the introduction of the siths and their views on the Jedi. The Plagueis cameo, the Twins with the force dyad, the creation of life trough the force, etc, it all makes sense and its all connected for the bigger picture. Overall I loved it, with some exceptions of course. I believe 8 episodes are not enough to tell even a smaller important part of a bigger plot. We should've gotten more episodes and more showtime and I'm sad to hear that season 2 was cancelled, but such is life...

Now, one thing I have to mention that bothers me. I am totally fine with watching SWE explain all the questions about the series and theories, BUT if someone is a maximalist and wants to read all the materials that are strongly connected with the late High Republic / Acolyte era, he/she gonna have to read trough a lot of things, I mean a lot of things. Comics, books, audio books, etc.

Dont get me wrong, I love reading, but not many people have the money and time to read it all to understand important characters and happenings in the series. This is the same issue that started with Rise of Skywalker. I still remember that I binge readed the novelization in one run, because I was so excited about finally getting the answers that the movie couldn't really provide about different things.

Also, remember the Last Jedi visual novel? If we haven't read it or haven't look it up on YT, we wouldn't even know that Revan and the Jedi Crusaders are now considered canon.

This is the only thing that bothers me. The series and movies are good, but with many unanswered questions, we just dont always have the time to read all the books and comics to get a somewhat solid explanation for many things. So, as I said above, I'm really happy that many YouTube channels are doing the "job" for us and explain things to us in 15-20 minute videos, instead of reading hundreds of hours.

That said, I still loved the Acolyte!
