First low dose cycle results
28M, lifting since 18. Started taking test E for the first time at 300mg per week (150 twice a week) about 8 weeks ago. Test was at 1150 ng first blood test at week 2. No negative side affects, feel great, energy through the roof, appetite like crazy, great strength increases.
I started this cycle at 200lbs flat, which is my usual lean / summer weight. By 7 weeks in I’m at 220lbs. I expected to gain weight on test, but not this much / this rapidly. My caloric intake has definitely increased. I’m still eating clean, just a lot more. I still have some ab definition, less than at 200lbs but I definitely didn’t let myself get “fat”. I just feel very full all Over. My chest, shoulders, upper back, are all constantly “full” appearing.
My initial plan was run 16 weeks at this dose, start my cut then take the summer off and maybe run another similar dose next winter. But at this rate of growth, I’m almost afraid to run another 8 weeks for the sake of not being able to get myself back to where I want to be visually by summer. My initial goal with this cycle was to overall hardened my body, increase energy / mood throughout winter (I work in construction, so a little extra motivation / energy in the cold months is doing wonders for my mental) not necessarily “blow up” and put on 30lbs.
Will I be able to shed the extra fluff off of this reasonably with my normal cutting diet / protocol? Is 20lbs in 8 weeks normal? Should this rapid gain taper off or should I expect to be 240 by February? Or should I cut this cycle early and reel it back in a little if I have any intentions on being lean again by summer without adding even more compounds to cut weight at a competitive level.
