Why does Tekken 8 have SO MANY confirm menus?

Rant warning

Did you suddenly decide to go and review a replay or go and make a new costume, but were already in character select? Well, sucks to be you, good luck taking dozens of seconds going through SO MANY of "DO YOU WANT TO RETURN?!" prompts.

I mean, ISN'T THIS A BLOODY FIGHTING GAME? You know, games famous for requiring PRECISE INPUTS? If I'm in character select and I don't want to go back, WHY ON EARTH WOULD I PRESS THE BACK BUTTON ON MY CONTROLLER, SILLY?

Seriously, this stuff really sets me off to no end!
