Being Harassed & Stalked by a Reddit User, need Advice

To begin with, on my main account, I offer services, specifically mechanical services for devices.

Since December, I’ve had a Redditor who has never purchased or used my services but constantly complains about the quality of my work and claims it’s overpriced. I confronted him and asked why he was doing this, especially since he has no actual experience with my work or services. His response? “You’re a piece of shit.” At that point, I told him he’d never get another second of my time and blocked him.

But it didn’t stop there. Since then, he’s created more than 20 Reddit accounts (at least that many I know of) and continues to manipulate or attack nearly every comment or post I make. He even goes into different subreddits to post that I’m a scammer, a liar, that my work is overpriced, and that it’s of bad quality. He offers to answer private messages to “prove” this to others, spreading false claims about me.

I’m getting really desperate about this situation. I have so many questions. I’ve already contacted Reddit to ask if there’s a way to block not just his accounts but all accounts created using his email address, or if a ban is possible. Unfortunately, I haven’t had any success.

This situation genuinely makes me sad. There’s this random person who spends hours of his time, day after day, trying to sabotage what I do—something I love and take pride in. I can’t help but wonder, what drives someone to this level of harassment? What kind of satisfaction do they get from this?

The truth is, he’s already succeeded in some ways. He’s scared off countless potential customers by responding to their comments or messaging them directly with lies, convincing them not to trust me. From his perspective, he’s probably already achieved a lot.

Still, one thing I’m sure of is that I will not engage with him anymore. I will ignore him completely, no matter what.

But I still feel lost. Does anyone have any advice on how to handle this? What motivates people to behave this way? And is there anything else I can do to stop him?
