[Seiko, Grand Seiko] Hi everyone! What’s the reason you love Seiko? What’s your story behind it?
Aside from Casio G-Shock for really rugged roll up your sleeves, get yourself dirty occasions, when it comes to just a normal everyday wear I will always wear a Seiko and/or a Grand Seiko. I love their history. A Japanese company that believes in making fantastic clocks/watches/timepieces. Simple as that. I love the fact that this company caters to both people looking to spend $100 all the way to tens of thousands of dollars on their timepieces. I will always wear Seiko with pride and no shame. Some people think “I will never spend a significant amount of money on a Grand Seiko because it still says ‘Seiko’”. Well…the way I see it, you can stay with Seiko as you move through the social classes. It has something for everyone. There are even Seikos and Grand Seikos that have the same style and design which is great and the thing is technically from the price point is vastly different—sure quality and detail are also miles different but the design and aesthetic are almost identical. And that’s what I love about them. Theyre not snobby and they know how to fight. They’re like the when Japan beat Spain and Germany in the 2022 World Cup. They compete and can roll with the Swiss with a modest name and I love that. The saying goes, “Money can’t buy class.”—and they understand that. What’s your story?
