I’m worried.

Hey everyone,

I didn’t wanna make this post because I was afraid to face the fact that I have sciatica, but it’s time I seek help.

I’ve outlined the timeline of my symptoms to hopefully see if anyone can figure out how it happened.

4 Years Ago - I’ve had pain and tingling in my left shoulder blade from about 4 years now. I suspect it started whenever I was drumming for a band. I quit then started an online business, which required me to sit down behind a computer practically all the time.

2 Years Ago - I ended up having chronic pelvic pain syndrome. I was going to physical therapy and that eventually resolved.

1 Year Ago - I got a standing desk and use it off and on when I work behind the computer. This whole time, I’m still on the computer often because of my online business.

4 Months Ago - My upper and mid back pain started getting worse. I talked to doctors and physical therapists that have said that my mid back is so tense it’s as hard as a rock. I have slight scoliosis so one doctor believed it was because of that.

1 Month Ago - I started feeling low back pain in my lumbar region. It’s gotten to the point where I couldn’t bend and sit without pain.

I’ve been walking outside everyday. I’ve also been using my standing desk pretty much all the time as I can’t really sit down without pain anymore. I also use a walking treadmill while working.

I was noticing both upper back pain getting worse when I’m typing on the computer.

2 Weeks Ago - The low back pain started going to my glutes.

Even as I stand, the pain is now chronically there in my glutes and it doesn’t leave.

TODAY - I’m feeling tingling and aching pain all the way down to my leg.

It’s a constant dull pain even when I’m sleeping.

I can’t wait any longer. I need your help.

What do you think caused it? What can I do to relieve these symptoms and ultimately make a full recovery?

Thank you in advance 🙏🏽
