Telling Not To Sell

What is up with shaming people for selling and taking profit? Someone please enlighten me as to why taking profits is frowned upon by all the Warren Buffets in this group. This group is just like the BBB stock holders. You hold and sell your bags based upon hope and emotion rather than facts. Hope isn't a business strategy. To all those newbies that aren't sure whether they should take some profits or possibly lose your investment..take your profits. Nobody ever went broke taking profits. I'll go ahead and be there first to down vote my comment.
