Who's first experience with the Genesis was Altered Beast and not Sonic?
The Genesis originally launched in North America bundled with Altered Beast. Who here had that original version growing up? My Genesis came with Sonic, which usurped Altered Beast in 1991 as the bundled game. If it was your first Genesis title, do you think it still holds up, or is the gameplay a little too dated and clunky? I wrote about the History of Altered Beast in a post and it was pretty cool to see what Makoto Uchida and Shinobi team wanted to do with the game, but couldn't due to technical and cost limitations. It couldn't been a much better game.
