Has anyone here actually written a whole book? Has anyone been published?

You don't have to out yourself by naming it, just tell us about the process - how long did it take? How did you approach writing? Did you have an agent, and where did you find them? How about editors, what were they like? Was it well received?

I'm so interested in this and I'm sure everyone else is too!
