3 weeks clean!
Hey Everyone!
Thought I would post my quitting story as reading other people's was helpful for me when I finally decided to put the vape down (hope someone can benefit from this and stay strong or put down the vape :) )
I was vaping for about 5 years and would vape more than anyone I knew. I never thought it would be possible to stop and even thinking about quitting would make me anxious. Even all of my friends never thought I would be able to quit but after reading Allen Car's easy way to quit vaping, I finally decided it was time to put it down.
I took my last hit at 9 PM on April 15th and went to bed. I recommend this as you wake up already 6-9 hours into quitting which is helpful, but I digress.
The first 5 days were very very hard I will not lie. I was constantly craving the vape, I could not focus or sleep or do really anything besides exercise and wait. At this point I could not honestly imagine staying off the vape.
Days 5-13 ish were WAY easier and cravings were far less frequent than before. This is when it became manageable and I could envision my life without vaping. Cravings were definitely still present but I was able to get through them easily.
Days 13-21, I can honestly say I never really experience cravings anymore. My life feels so much more fun I am laughing more and enjoying so many thins that I used to before I stated vaping such as biking and playing basketball.
I really hope this helps and anyone can do it!
