How would you scale the most powerful (yet unknown) cartoon character
The character is a bit complex because it is “cosmic imagination” from Adventure Time.
While many don’t cite this character due to it barely showing up in the series it is in fact incredibly powerful and something that has grazed my mind for a while. From everything I’ve seen I’ve struggled to find an animated character w/o OC Fallacy stronger than it.
Backgroud: I’ve watched adventure time for a minute and gotten into the lore, with Fiona and Cake as well as Villainous coming out Cosmic Imagination has taken a serious buff.
What it is: In simple terms it is the collective consciousness of all under it. It is the dreamer, one a higher plane of existence that is unable to physically interact with anyone of any dimensionality on the “normal” playing field. It is not able to exist within space or time however can interact through thought. It can grant all and take from all. It has transcended the very playing field it governs. The only caveat is that there must be someone to perceive the actions. It gives a literal answer to “if a tree falls and nobody hears it did it make a sound?” With that answer being no. The cosmic imagination only holds power as long as there are beings for it to hold power over, it’s actions don’t occur unless someone it there to conceptualize the actions. In a way it’s the very embodiment of imagination, of thinking, of all thinking and the physical embodiment of that. The battle wiki has it scaled at 2-A however that comes before the developments given.
New developments: Black Hat can canonically enter the adventure time universe. By doing so he becomes a thought at conscious effected by cosmic imagination. Prior to this it was thought that the range of the cosmic imagination was only Multiversal+ however upon this development it can be including multiple multiverses as Black Hat is not part of the Adventure Time multiverse, it’s travel across different IPs and multiverses meaning that now the scope of Cosmic Imagination falls into all other cartoons that Black Hat is cannon in (a lot). Additionally with Finn and Jake appearing in a quick Uncle Grandpa crossover it gives the powers of cosmic imagination a huge boost (he is root of all magic and power) which would allow Cosmic Imagination to be the governor of a lot of CN Toon force and that’s just the beginning. With these two new crossovers Cosmic Imagination is likely to govern and collectively conceptualize far more than just his own verse and only the powers displayed in that but other characters too, including Uncle Grandpa who has 4th wall breaks, his own separate multiverse and ability over his writers (though the cosmic imagination already possess this over Pendleton Ward)
Strength: It is stronger than anything that can exist, so long as anyone is conceptualizing the strength given it. It’s strength is impossible to measure because it is able to be as strong as perceived. So long as the cosmic controls the playing field the strength is unable to be beaten.
Speed: Omnipresent/Immersurable, it has existed everywhere forever
Weapons: It may control any idea, or thing in existence
Intelligence: Nigh omnipotent, able to be as intelligent as anyone on the lower plane playing field (like prismo who voids space and time and lives outside the multiverse yet is still utilizing magic and travel laws of the Cosmic Mind. Furthering my reasoning for beyond a multiversal scope)
Magic: Usually magic is weaker but Cosmic Imagination creates all magic by interpreting thought and turning it into physical form, it makes what happens happen.
Scope: Outerversal, with new developments it claims dreamership over what is in the void, of other dimensionality, of all multiverse, intellectual property, and is unable to be bounded or contained by anything within those
Other: power of the pencil, exists before and after time, governs over 4d+, exists in the AT void, exists irrelevant to space and time
Ik it’s long but I’m interested to hear thoughts, I personally think that with presented evidence it should go far higher than 2-A, it’s most certaily stronger than Uncle Grandpa, Golb, SpongeBob, Black Hat and all other cartoons especially those under him. If Featherine gets to be scaled 1-A and the cosmic imagination can be a much stronger character with a broader scope than what was before I believe it deserves 1-A at the minimum.
TLDR: Scaling Adventure Time god of gods scaling
