Introducing Pokemon Ruby++/Ruby 2!

Hi everyone! For the past two months, I've been working on my brand new hack based on Ruby version. Eventually, this hack will become Pokemon Ruby 2. For now, I am just working on the base for Ruby 2, which I am calling Ruby++. Ruby 2 will be as if Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire 2 were released in the place of Emerald, and it will have the same design philosophy as BW2. There will be a new area which is much smaller than Hoenn. This is where you will begin your journey. You will then enter Hoenn with your team around level 30, experiencing a familiar Hoenn, but with a few added areas and a new story and trainers to encounter.

Before I start working on Ruby 2, however, I must finish its base, which is Ruby++. Ruby++ has many QoL features that I'm sure players will enjoy. It will also feature the new (Hoenn) areas that will be feaured in Ruby 2, as well as obtainable event Pokemon such as Jirachi and Deoxys. Here is a list of some features:

Nature colored stats in summary screen (100%)

Physical/Special Split (100%)

Updated BST totals to Generation VII (100%)

Updated Movesets to Generation VII (75%)(fast)

Added many Abilities up to Generation VII (100%)

Some Added pokemon up to Generation VII (0%)(medium)

Press select to see Pokemon's IVs/EVs in summary screen (100%)

Reusable TMs(100%)

------V1.0------- (Moves have been added, but only Generation IV)

Added many moves up to Generation VII (25%)(medium)

Slightly increased difficulty (0%)(fast)

B/W Repel System (0%)(fast)

New, explorable areas in routes(0%)(slow)

TMs in yellow Pokeballs (0%)(fast)

Legendary events making pokemon such as deoxys, jirachi, lugia, and ho-oh available (0%)(slow)

Shiny chaining as in Let's Go (Catch the same pokemon 10+ times to maximize shiny odds/IVs)(0%)(medium)

HM Items(0%)

Much more!

As you can see, I've given my current progress on the hack, as well as the cutoff for V1.0. In the uncompleted categories, you can see how long I expect each task to take me, so you can have a good idea as to the release times. After I update the movesets, I will add about 20 new species from future generations, ~10 TMs and relevant overworld abilities. I will release V1.0 at this point, which I expect to be in 2 weeks or so. It will have update movesets to Gen 7, but only has moves up to Gen IV. So if you are playing V1.0, you should look at Gen VII movesets, but don't be surprised if your Pokemon doesn't learn a Gen V move. V2.0 will be the final release of Ruby++, and will have all of the features above. Below is some media I've made showing some of the QoL features.

(Note that Grovyle and Turtwig have these moves for testing/showcase purpose)

Thanks, and I'll see you in a few weeks with a download link!
