First PC build, am I missing something?

Hi everyone,

pcpartpicker

I am building my first PC with my husband and have watched many videos and compared many builds and parts.

We are currently at the stage of buying the motherboard, CPU, GPU, memory, SSD.

I’m an overthinker so I’m quite stressed about the whole thing and wanted to double check these parts will work well together for gaming and editing maybe streaming. I’ve used a pc builder compatibility checker but still would like other opinions.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5700x

CPU Cooler: Cool Master Hyper H412R

Motherboard: MSI B550M PRO-VDH WiFi

GPU: MSI GeForce RTX 4060 VENTUS 2X 8G

Memory: Corsair Vengeance DDR4-3200 16gb x 2

SSD: Silicon Power A60 1TB

HDD: Western Blue Digital 1TB

Case: Fractal Design 7 Compact

Power Supply: Corsair CX650M (2021) 650 W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-modular ATX

We haven’t bought fans for the case yet…any recommendations for this? And anything I’m missing in general?

It did say that the BIOS needs to be version 7C95v2A for the CPU to work with the motherboard. I’m not sure I understood very well but you can get the firmware for this from the MSI manufacturer’s website??

Thank you!
