Would my case's USB headers be damaged by water?

Recently the case I bought (Montech Air 100 ARGB) got wet under a window that was left open. There was water inside the case from leaking in through the holes in the top of the case. There are no parts but the cables to link the motherboard to the USB slots on the top and the link to the power button were exposed to the water that got in. Would the cables be broken by the water, and if so would it be covered by warranty?
