How will Magby and Elekid effect Magmar & Electabuzz when they come into the game?

So with the new set coming out on January 29th and these 2 little guys being in the Gen 2 of pokemon being released. These will obviously be basics but would that move our current Magmar & Electabuzz to stage 1’s? And if so will we get better stats on those cards or would these remain as basics and new variations of Magmar & Electabuzz’s as stage 1’s will be introduced? And whenever Electivire & Magmortar are added they will be the stage 2’s and maybe even an EX of those down the road?

Maybe this has been talked about already but was just very curious or if someone actually knows.
