Retrotink 5x for Ps1Ps2 Games on a BCPS3

Hey all! I got my BCPS3 Frankensteined so it's no longer a ticking time bomb. It's a cecha01 so it's hardware based when playing PS1PS2

So I've done a lot of research and can't find any solid answers . I've been contemplating getting this thing called retrotink 5x I was wondering would it make a difference on my bcps3 for ps1ps2 games if I used high graded component cables with it? Would it sharpen everything like it does to a PS2 using retrotink?

Ik it would be nicer with a ps2 but I like the wireless controllers, and just the ps3 overral in general as I've noticed the extra processing power helps in a lot of ps2 games with fps issues like Harry Potter the sorcerstone. Any help would be much appreciated.
