First Watch

My first major watch purchase. I was passed down an old date just and love it but didn’t want to wear it to the ground. I went with the Omega Seamaster Heritage on a blue dial. I understand how the patina is a divisive choice. My main draw to this watch though is its subtlety. People who appreciate watches will recognize it. At the same time, I don’t feel like I’m flashing around my wrist in public. With the Seamaster 300, I have a simple piece with masterful nuance. The sandwich dial, exhibit case back, two-tone lume, and the heritage make this a no brainer.

Excited to join the omega wearing family. Will still wear the date just for family events but I think I found my everyday watch.
