No electricity for two weeks while the city laughs

Looking for advice on how to convince the city to send out an inspector. I had some repairs done on my electrical (replaced wiring from breaker to meter, replaced the meter pan). Entergy originally told my electricians they didn't need a permit, only to find out after the work was done they needed one. So, they requested it, way back on 1/9. It's still sitting in plan review stage.

What magical words do I say to what magical being to get them to move things along? I have no heat, no hot water. I don't need hindsight advice, no next time etc. In this moment what do I do so I can get my power back on?

Autistic friends, how do you deal with things like this? I'm so disregulated

Update 1/23: I looked at the permit request (which hasn't moved) and I noticed it says they replaced the meter pack instead of meter pan, which I looked up and then freaked out and called the electrician and told them to go review the permit. Packs are for multi family units for like splitting up the power (I know it's more advanced than that but essentially) and I'm a single family dwelling so WHY DO THEY THINK THE CITY WOULD APPROVE THAT.

I emailed my councilman Eugene Greene as I am District D.

I just emailed one of the news stations too.

Update 1/24: No response from anyone. Spoke with my original electrician who wasn't aware the city was still jerking my chain (it's a big company based out of BR so they have many electricians). It's still a waiting game at this point.

But I do have my actual permit number now! That's all the progress I made.

And now where I'm staying we're having issues with the water because the dumbass neighbor tenant on our water line didn't leave their stuff leaking and they have a burst pipe lol 🫠

Update 1/25: (Pipe where I'm at is fixed lol) NOW it says I owe $103 on the one stop app for the permit. So I made an account to try and pay it, but it won't come up in the system under the permit number. I texted the electrician and they're having the same issue. Also it said it was reviewed on 1/13 which is a fckin lie.

I emailed Tammy Jackson head of A&P.
