WCJ to the Knicks without trading Mitch or Randle(cause that would be dumb and largely ruin the point of getting WCJ to the Knicks)

I may be wrong on this cap stuff, but I believe the Knicks can sign Precious to any amount of money under the 2nd Apron(which at max would be about 17 mil a year). Knowing this, the Knicks sign Precious to a lucrative deal starting at 7.3 mil and then decreasing to 7 mil and then 6.5 mil, with the third year definitely being a team option and the 2nd year probably being one as well. Doing this allows the Knicks to send out less money then they are taking in, not capping them at the first apron. Now to the rest of the trade.

Knicks get their much needed center depth with WCJ who would most likely split team with Mitch while both are healthy(which may be a rare occurence). WCJ is a good defender and rebounder while also giving the Knicks the option to space the floor around a guy like Randle(37% from 3 last year about 34% on his career). the Magic may or may not see WCJ as part of their future, but resigning Mo Wager, Goga, and Jonathan Isacc to longer term deals this year makes me think they do not see WCJ there.

Trading for McBride gives the Magic a very good three and d guard to back up KCP/Suggs(41% from 3 last season). Cole Anthony is good but inconsistent and not really a good defender while guys like Anthony Black and Jett Howard are still very young and unproven(and can both play forward positions with their size). Of course Gary Harris is still there as well but I'd imagine McBride will be able to find 15-20 minutes at the minimum in that jumbled guard rotation(which is more than he would get backing up the likes of Mikal and Brunson with donte also there and Kolek rumored as the backup pg and Payne also being a better pure pg than Mcbride).

The Magic also get decent draft capital with one first(make it the WSH protected first if you think that one is more likely to convey) and 2 seconds. Precious will be a good security piece to have for when a guy like Isaac inevitably gets injured, and if he shows improvement in his game maybe he can become a viable rotation piece for them as well(but he is really just salary filler and security).
