Minesweeper Game in Progress - Share Your Thoughts!

Hey folks,

I'm in the midst of creating a classic Minesweeper game for both phone and PC. The aim is to enjoy Minesweeper without annoying ads and to eliminate the guesswork. I've also come up with a few ideas to enhance the experience, and I'm curious to know if they'd catch your interest enough for me to consider releasing the game.

Initially, this project was just for personal enjoyment, and I hadn't planned on releasing it or investing more time, given my ongoing work on other game projects. However, these new ideas have sparked my interest, and I'm contemplating whether you'd be interested too.

Here are the ideas I'm considering:

1. Mine-Maze:

  • Imagine a maze where mines act as walls. Navigate your character through the maze while strategically uncovering mines to reveal the walls. Stepping on a mine is a setback, but worry not; you have extra lives and some handy abilities to use when things get tough.

2. Sea mines:

  • Embark on a thrilling naval adventure! Navigate your ship through treacherous waters filled with sea mines from past wars. Each move is a calculated risk as you strategically uncover the locations of sea mines for safe passage. Engage in daring rescue missions, collect drops for ship abilities, and face unpredictable weather conditions. Sea mines mode is not just a test of your Minesweeper skills but a high-stakes adventure, propelling you into an immersive naval journey.

3. Uncover Enemy Ships in the Sea:

  • A twist on the classic Minesweeper concept – the sea is filled not with mines but hidden enemy ships. Uncover disguised ships, from small boats to colossal battleships, using classic Minesweeper logic. It's a unique take on "Sink the Ship" within the Minesweeper style. Maneuver wisely to reveal the entire enemy fleet without hitting a false target.
  1. Level Editor Add-On:
  • For added excitement, I can add an add-on editor. Design custom levels, create intricate mazes, or craft challenging sea scenarios. Share your creations with the community and challenge others to conquer your designed levels. Additionally, I can add a feature that allows you to save your game progress, so you can come back later whenever you need.

I'd love to hear your thoughts on these ideas. Are they intriguing enough for you? Do you have any other ideas that I could incorporate and is there something negative about the ideas I listed that I might have missed?

Let me know if you'd be interested.
