Realpage Layoffs

Today the CEO popped on an all hands meeting to announce that it will be a difficult day because they are preparing to eliminate 4% of their workforce. It was short and sweet. We were told those impacted would be receiving a meeting invite from their manager. Sure enough, a meeting invite popped up and I knew. The company has been planning for several years to Re-IPO, but amid all the legal troubles and lawsuits, I can only assume it is related.

I was not in a position where I would know how the selections were made. High performers, Directors, VPs, Engineers, SVPs across varying degrees of tenure were let go today.

Wanted to allow a place for people to vent or discuss their experiences anonymously as I know the number of people impacted is significant.
