Kia dealership wants $5,794 for new manifold / catalytic converter in 2019 Soul+ 2.0L

Just got this quote for my 2019 Soul + 2.0L. It includes $668 in labor. They say "both catalytic converters are clogged."

Background, I'm in Michigan. Got this used at pretty high mileage. The car ran great for 4 years, but went through a lot of oil. It gave out last year. They replaced the engine 4 months ago for free under "a bulletin" (extended warranty?). Anyway, I had it towed there yesterday. It's not drivable. (I'm assuming the cat got clogged up since the defective engine was burning so much oil?) I was hoping they'd cover this under corporate advisement but no luck.

Anyway, they say they're open to my finding an aftermarket part, which I just texted them. (Magnaflow #52851 for $897, "OEM-grade") The website says it fits... can anyone confirm? Waiting to hear back.

Wondering if folks have other thoughts. The labor charge seems high (?). Should I just get it towed to an independent shop after seeing if they'd install the Magnaflow part?
