Replace bumper cover

So I hit a deer last week. Mechanic gave estimate for fix and said this just the bumper cover that needs replaced. I'd like to find one at a junk yard and replace myself. Headlight is undamaged. No other damage but a cracked bumper cover. Anyone ever change their bumper cover?

My car is a 2014 Kia Soul !

I don't want to put more money into the car when the value is so low. Insurance will cover the repair 100% but I'm torn between having the insurance and body shop fix it or just replacing it myself and pocketing some of the insurance payout. The insurance company paid me directly and left it up to me how I wanted to fix it. It already has dings and dents and I've had the car since 2016. It's paid off and I'm gonna run it until it dies. I take good care of it. But I need to decide if I'm going to let the body shop fix it or fix it myself or even leave it cracked. I supposed there isn't any problem with leaving it cracked except for eventual rust. I don't plan to trade it in as i don't qualify for a car loan right now. And i like having no car payments. I paid the car loan off in March of 2024. Any advice?
