Special round possible?

I scored 92.5 in jee mains and my rank in adv was 25007 (110 marks/6503 obc) acc to last year I shoudve gone into iit but idk what happened to this counselling the closing rank of 5th round wasn’t even close to my rank. I talked to my friends and some counsellors but they only said that the timing of councelling was bad and iits do not conduct a spot/special round. But the case here is many seats are vacant this year as compared to last year’s number 45. I am getting cse in RGIPT. Should i choose it or wait for IIST spot round or are there any chances for special round coz many seats are vacant this year
