Had some questions

So it’s been about a month now after my live scan has cleared, turned in all my paperwork, I did the orientation and completed everything. I don’t see my recipient still on the IHSS website, nor have I heard anything or received any emails from anybody, is this normal? I reside in LA county/San Fernando Valley. Also my recipient is going to be moving in with me and I am going to need to request more care hours for them because they are going to need around the clock care. I also need to request the back pay, But I was told it’s only 90 days back that we can submit for? What if they take longer to get me squared away and in the system like they are doing right now? It’s still only 90 days back that I can request for, even though I am and have been continuing to care for my recipient? It is also impossible to get anyone on the phone ever by calling in. I don’t even know why they have that number available, they never answer. I have called several different times and waited 2 hours on the phone each time. I gave up on it because that is just ridiculous. I’m sure I’m going to have to go into the office again, because it seems that is the only way to get things done.
