Ihss provider question

I applied to be a provider for my son who is autistic, we already received the hours he is eligible for and I turned in all the paperwork to become a provider and now the people at the IHSS office are saying my social security number needs to be "cleared" so I can get approved to be the provider. I'm not sure what that means but they told me to go to the SS office to find out what is going on with my SS but they said everything is good. So now idk what to do to get approved. Has anyone else had this problem before or does anyone know what this means?
