Does yearly assessment make you nervous?
Hi! I'm a live in provider for my son we have 195hrs a month for going on since he was 4 now is 6 years old These yearly assessment always make me feel nervous feels like I have to always convince someone how "disabled" my son is nothing changd about him he's severely autistic and non speaking who self harms when he's over stimulated he has really bad elopement tendencies he left school and they found him in the street when he was in TK he needs my assistance with pretty much every thing still Hygiene, bath, feeding changing, diaper changing etc he also experienceinh these weird episodes we don't know yet if they are seizures but he becomes lethargic goes limp. He has altered consciousness where he's confused he doesn't know what's going on eventually ends up in the hospital and needs meds because he's blood sugar drops and vomiting occurs so I'm literally watching him 24 hrs and more issues I feel like they are going to some way take PS away every year it's my fear anybody feel that way ? Just paranoid parent?
