Question, advice.

It's been a year in the making but finally got my hours (not going down thar rabbit hole here). The hours are good, pretty close. For background; I care for a senior, brain injury disabled with severe depression and eating disorder (plus other). I have protective supervision-approved and we live together.

Now, I'm working about 10 hours a day. I'm not counting when he's sleeping. I'm approved for 265 a month. So, pretty close - happy. My question/advice needed is; I got the list of approved services - and some of these are utterly ridiculous. I don't know if I should fight to correct these or because the hours are close enough just let it go (frankly don't want to deal with this shit anymore).

For example; 'shopping for food' - allowed 20 min!!! SERIOUSLY. A WEEK?! This is insane. Now I know 'prorated' understandable and fair but BUT can anyone anyONE: make meal plan for week, coupon clip, drive to store, get items, checkout, drive back home ,unload and put away in 20 F mins? Nevermind can any one do all that in an hour? Who isn't disabled or a senior? Seriously I need your advice. I am not even taking into account the major problems he has with food or the episodes/tantrums he needs to be talked down from after nearly every isle. And, yes he does need to go physically- it upsets him BUT also NOT going upsets him. Needs to physically see and touch. We usually go once a week and sometimes I just run out again later in week.

Thats only one thing. The ' domestic services' a month is only approved for 2 hours! LMFAO. Who cleanes and does chores for only 2 hours a month?? A MONTH?

So, a little venting- sorry but I don't really know what to do here. I want things to be 'right' as possible but like I've been dealing with medi-cal shit for over a year and there is so much more I need to work on. Do I try correct/fight this or leave it because end hours are close enough?

Thanks
