Eclisse synthesis pocket door frames

New construction - the door sales guy sold us the Eclisse syntesis system but unfortunately neither he or the builder’s finish carpenter have experience with these systems and the end result is pretty choppy. The finish carpenter had to rout the top and bottom of the doors on site since the door didn’t get it done prior to delivery- says he didn’t know that was needed. We trusted the finish carpenter who routed the top and bottom but basically a hack job and the proceeded to shave off a bit from top of the door since that is how it will fit ? Now the door looks weird with a gap at the top of the door to the opening and the screw is visible since the install is not flush to the top. Basically asking if the screw should be visible at the top of the doors?
