Gemini still sucks as a phone Assistant

TLDR: Gemini < Google Assistant < Google Now (from 7yrs ago)... We are going backwards.

All these months later and thought I'd give Gemini another try as my phone's assistant. After a few days of normal use, it is quite clear that Gemini is still stupidly far behind Google Assistant in everyday tasks. 🤦🏻‍♂️

What's the point of Gemini replacing Assistant, if it doesn't do everything and more than Google Assistant does? Am I crazy for thinking an upgrade should be an upgrade lol?
