God of war ragnarok

Why am I not finding any runic attacks in new game plus, I did find one in a legendary chest but that was in the beginning almost and I’ve opened probably honestly 10 or 15 more after that and I’ve not gotten any more runic attacks at all. What’s going on here? Is there somewhere I get them or no? I even just opened the 3rd chest at the raven tree and got nothing but mountain roots and some other bs but no runic attacks
