Anyone else literally hate April?

I tried so hard to like her but she was just consistently so annoying to me. I think there were definitely different ways that the writers could have made Lorelai and Luke's relationship interesting and complicated, and even write her back with Christopher at some point without including April. At the end of the show, none of their previous issues are really even worked out. They just kind of get over everything that happened and never even acknowledge the initial conflict with him and his kid. I think this and Rory's community service phase are the downfall of season 6. Definitely my least favorite season.
