Issue when working clutch hard

I've noticed when I'm driving my g hard, spinning off the line or some drifting (not a takeover I'm not one of them) my clutch seems to get hot really really fast and then seems to be halfway engaged and burns a lot, is this common with stock clutches this is my first sports car so I'd love some advise on how to fix this in the future.
