I hate the fact I’m not French

Born in English speaking Canada and now I’m living with my partner in Quebec. I’m having a difficult time getting accustomed to winter after 13 years in the south, I hate the fact that I can’t pick this up faster and wish I was fucking French.

So aggravating.

Edit: my husband of ten years died in 2023. I moved from FL to Canada late last year. I am Canadian. I lived in southern Ontario all my life until I moved to Florida. I hate the fact that I can’t learn and I am a failure at life.
