North + RTX 5080

Hi, I’d like to ask if there’s anyone here dealing with the same dilemma regarding the North case and the new RTX 50XX series cards. I’m looking for a successor to my RTX 2080 for my current build, and I’m unpleasantly surprised by the length of most cards from EU manufacturers. I’m considering the RTX 5080, and I really liked the Asus Astral—a beautiful graphics card with an RGB strip on the side that would fit perfectly into my setup. Unfortunately, it’s 2.7mm longer (North 355mm MAX) than the North case can accommodate. Yes, I know, that’s why the North XL exists :-D I built my setup about a year ago, so I’d rather not buy a new case. MSI didn’t really appeal to me; I’m not a fan of the overly “gaming” look—I prefer something clean. Out of all the options I’ve seen so far (in the Czech Republic, we have MSI, Gigabyte, Asus, Inno3D, Gainward, Palit), I’ll probably go with the Gigabyte Gaming OC. The length is fine, but the illuminated Aorus logo is on the right side and won’t be visible in the North due to the metal panel. My PC is on my desk, and I built it not only for performance but also to look good. Is there anyone else struggling with choosing an RTX 5080/5090 for the North? :-D Thanks!
